Brevard Zoo and Rain

Today was fun, however it seems that Brevard Zoo and I have this potential pattern. Everytime I go, it rains. Well, the zoo was fun, albeit wet. At least this time I got to see the giraffes. Last time it was lightening and thundering and the zoo people took them inside. However, this time the River otters were not being otterish. That is, they were not playing around. It was disappointing.

Tonight I'm hoping that Eric and I can go out for Chinese after I get off work (which is where I am right now) But, I just realized that his favorite show is on at 8 pm(when I get off) and he probably knows this. Then again, he may be so involved in WoW that he doesn't realize what day or time it is. I'm hoping.

I had this really great revelation today. The school has decided to give us more breaks this upcoming fall semester, supposedly to help if we ever get hit with another hurricane like what happened this previous fall semester. However, this effectively means that the fall break we get in October directly coincides with my birthday weekend. Yes, that's right, my 21st birthday weekend. H..O..L..Y S..H..I..T.. I can't believe it. That weekend is going to be crazy. Hmmm, maybe I can convince my mother to come down and celebrate my birthday with me. That would be cool. We could all go out for girly drinks. Me, Cheryl and Mom. It'd be fun! And Eric could drive!

I'm going to go back to writing one of the new stories I started. It should be interesting. It was inspired by Cypress Stands and one of those video-game-turned-movie's sequel. Complicated yes I know, but it has a good plot and, in my opinion, is fairly original.

Tomorrow starts Spring Break

Wow, so I wish that Eric hadn't gotten me hooked on World of Warcraft. It isn't being a problem right now but still... Florida Tech FINALLY got on Facebook. The good one. It's interesting to see how everyone from high school has changed. I just don't like my picture right now, I wanna change it but I don't know what to. Anyway, I'm almost to Spring Break. I've got three classes tomorrow and a revised lab report to write before it can start. Even then though, I've got a ton of stuff to do, schoolwork and chores.
Today was cold. What is up with Florida? And why did it have to be cold on a day that I went out collecting snook and shrimp? I was wearing my wetsuit, PLUS a shirt, PLUS a fleece. And I was still cold. That's just wrong. New Englanders may say Hah, it's snowing, try that! But I tell you, you try being in Florida long enough that your blood thins and you can no longer handle 50 degree weather in just a sweatshirt and jeans. It stinks!

Anyway, I've got a lab report to finish revising and maybe Eric will get his report done in almost completion so he can spend the night with me. We are both so busy we never get to spend much time together and if we are together, one of us has homework to do. Well, that's all for now. Check me out at facebook!
